Hello! Welcome to my digital elevator pitch. It might take a little longer than 30 seconds, but here we go...

I'm originally from beautiful Bulgaria, and after moving to the US, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Business from Indiana University, Bloomington.

After spending several years in the financial industry, I decided to make a 180-degree career change and challenge myself to learn something new and exciting. My side hobby of creating digital stationary products using Adobe Photoshop, combined with the inspiring stories of my female friends in the tech community, led me to pursue a career in the software engineering sector; and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made.

After completing a 4-month long technical program, I landed my first tech apprenticeship with Stats Perform. The fast-paced work environment with ever-evolving learning opportunities was right up my alley and allowed me to excel. Successfully completing my 3-month apprenticeship, I was offered a full-time opportunity with the company and started working towards my new dream - a career in the tech world.

I'm passionate about using my creativity and technical skills to create innovative solutions and contribute to the ever-evolving world of technology. As a front-end enthusiast, I love using React magic to craft performant and beautiful web applications, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional user experience. I am also a strong advocate for empowering women in tech and diversity and inclusion. I want to keep inspiring others to follow their dreams and pursue a career in the tech industry, just like I did!
